THE LAMB SLAIN

About 3,500 years ago God began to reveal Himself to His chosen people through His prophets and witnesses as recorded in Scripture. Many of us are familiar with the early story of how God tested Abraham's faith by requesting that he take his son up on the mount to serve as a sacrifice. As the event concluded we learned that God did allow a ram to serve as a substitute for Abraham's son.
As God further revealed Himself we find that He offered His people a way to atone for sin through the shed blood of sacrificed animals. Here are bible search links for the words "sin offering" and "atone sin". Eventually God had the Jews build a tabernacle, and the focus of that grand structure was the alter, on which God gave specific instructions regarding animals that were to be sacrificed. It is a matter of historical record that the temple was in fact built and sacrifices did indeed take place. Here is a Wikipedia article that details the temple of Solomon that was built almost 3,000 years ago.
During this old covenant, and over 600 years before Christ, the prophet Jeremiah was given a prophecy of a new covenant.
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Isn't that a wonderful promise? Well that new covenant was indeed fulfilled over 600 years later through Jesus Christ who provided the one sacrifice for all.
Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
As God revealed Himself to us atonement of sin has come through blood sacrifice.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Gentiles - Muslim or otherwise - that deny that God's Son was sacrificed for our sin, may as well close their bibles, because this is what the whole bible is about, and our only path to salvation. There is no more important element to believe. Jesus sacrifice for our sin is the whole subject of the New Testament which means "new covenant".
Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
So where does that situate the 7th century prophet Mohammed in relation to all of the prophets and witnesses of the 1600 year record of God to mankind?
2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
1John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
The subject of Jesus' crucifixion, death and resurrection is the most important element in scripture, with the Messiah being the most important element in Old Testament prophecy, and the New Testament fulfillment of that Messiah.
1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
God's Word is a 1600 year record of the steadily unfolding of how God chose to manifest, or reveal, Himself to mankind, as recorded by prophets and witnessed by legions. The Old Testament records God's revelation to His chosen people the Jews, and the everlasting covenants He has with the seed of Abraham. The Old and New Testaments detail the revelation of God to the Gentiles, and the new covenant path to salvation that was given to us. It would not be a stretch to suggest that the whole bible is about Jesus Christ, and here's why:
Roughly one third of the bible is prophecy. For the Jews was the promised Son:
(asterisks for Tanach version of verses)
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.*
Also in the Old Testament book of:
Psalms 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.*
The fulfillment of this specific prophecy is mentioned in the New Testament book of:
Acts 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

In the Old Testament we find Jesus crucifixion prophesied:
Psalms 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me. 18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.*
Fulfilled
Matthew 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
Old Testament
Zechariah 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.
New Testament
John 19:37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
Old Testament
Isaiah 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
New Testament
1Peter 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

When Jesus Christ died on the cross the veil of the alter in the temple was ripped.
Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
In the book of Romans we learn that it would seem that God Himself gave some of the Jews blindness to the Gospel. Here's a link to a more in depth discussion on this topic.
Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
From the previous Old Testament verses we see that Jews believed in the Son, but it seems God may have blinded some from recognizing that Jesus is that promised Son.
We know God wouldn't blind them to condemn them:
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
How, otherwise, could a group be enemies concerning the Gospel but still be beloved?
Romans 11:28 As concerning the gospel, [they are] enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, [they are] beloved for the fathers' sakes.
The bible says that nobody can be saved but by the blood of the Lamb, but might Old Testament saints have been saved by Jesus too? To an omniscient God, the sinful nature of mankind and need for atonement for our sin was a foregone conclusion. When was the Lamb slain?
Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Was Jesus only suffering done on the Cross?
Hebrews 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
It would seem that Jesus suffered under the burden of our sins, long before he was made manifest to us and died on the Cross, to save us from our sins. That would include believing Jews. There has only been a single mediator between God and men. God manifest, or revealed Himself, through Jesus Christ as the way for us to understand God through our limited human capacity.
1Timothy 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
It would still seem that perhaps Jesus Second Coming will indeed be a mournful day for the Jews as prophesied in the Old Testament:
Zechariah 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.
ALL anti-Zionists need to consider the above very carefully. The primary reason for some bigoted doctrines in the church would seem to stem from viewing Jews as a monolithic group when turning to scripture. Would Christians consider themselves to be in the same group as Gentile atheists and idol worshipers? Of course not. There are genealogical Jews that believe Jesus is their Messiah, and those that believe in God and remain blind to the Gospel, and those that have no belief, or natural Jews.
Islam, on the other hand, is a stand-alone anti-Judeo/Christian religion.
Sura 19:88 They say: (Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!
Surah 9.30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the Son of God. ...God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!
Islam is based on the 23 year record of the unwitnessed "revelations" of a seventh century prophet who never had a fulfilled prophecy, who never performed a single miracle, whose life was manifest in murder, pillage, plunder, sexual enslavement of women taken as spoils of war, and bloody imperialistic conquest.
Mohammed and his record are antichrist as the related verse exposes.
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].
Islam rejects the Son of God, rejects Jesus resurrection, and even rejects that Jesus died on the Cross in spite of the historical evidence reported by the witnesses including the secular record.
The saddest thing of all is that Islam rejects that Jesus died on the Cross to save all the world from our sins. So Islam rejects the new covenant, as it's murderous fruit has always demonstrated.
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment. 31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Bloody imperialistic conquest and enslavement of women and children is not love. Consider the two million killed by Islam just in the Sudan alone. Obviously NOT because of Zionism.
![]() Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
For Gentiles to reject Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection - His very purpose - is to reject Jesus Christ. To reject that He is the Son of God is to reject the doctrine of Christ.
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
Unlike Mohammed's "revelations", the bible was heavily witnessed.
Mark 15:39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Hundreds or thousands of witnesses watched Jesus die on the Cross. Mohammed, in direct opposition to the Word of God, declared:
Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
So all of the first century witnesses, are contradicted five centuries later by a single individual. We will explore the possible reason in the next video "STRONG DELUSION".
For those in the grip of the false prophet Mohammed's stand-alone 7th century religion, the bible is not a word game, for Islamic Greek sophist styled entertainment. You are betting your ETERNAL LIFE on the 23 year record of "revelation" without witnesses, of a single prophet that arrived on the scene five centuries after the bible was closed, whose life and book were the exact opposite of that revealed through Jesus Christ.
To our Islamic could-become brethren in Christ Jesus we exhort you:
1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
