Islam's Greek sophist styled entertainers and lying deceivers, like Ahmed Deedat, blasphemously refer to the whole subject of the Gospel as the "crucifiction" of Christ. This is of course because Muhammad's followers are required to deny the whole subject of the Gospel, because Muhammad alone denied the basis of the whole subject of the Gospel.

Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus.....but they killed him not, nor crucified him.....for of a surety they killed him not:-

Thus even a child could see, that one is compelled to choose, between complete opposites. The Bible or the Quran - Jesus or Muhammad - Christianity or Islam.

The whole subject of the Gospel is the sacrifice of the Passover Lamb of God, and salvation we are given from otherwise dying in our sins, through faith in the sin-atoning shed blood of the Messiah. The whole purpose for which He was made manifest to the world. Just as was prophesied by Jesus Himself, as well as Old Testament prophets many hundreds of years before the event.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Jesus prophesied His own crucifixion, death and resurrection:

Matthew 20:17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, 18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, 19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify [him]: and the third day he shall rise again.

Old Testament or New, the prescription for remission of sin is the same:

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it [is] the blood [that] maketh an atonement for the soul.

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The shed blood of sacrifice was of course the purpose of the alter in the temple that YHWH had His people build in Jerusalem. As demonstrated by Adam and Eve's single act of disobedience, it doesn't take much sin to separate us from God, unless our sins are atoned for. The single sacrifice of the Passover Lamb of God ended the blood sacrifice system of the old covenant - forever:

Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Yet Muhammad's followers are taught that the first drop of a Muslim's own blood, that is shed while conquering others through the sword, absolves his own sins. They are even taught that being killed inadvertently, while engaged in the act of slaughtering others through imperialistic conquest, allows that "martyr" to intercede for 70 of his family members. However the one true God of love, isn't revealed as being about fighting and conquering others, but rather the direct opposite. Muslims are also taught, that when they travel to Mecca and perform the Hajj (which the Arabians did before Muhammad), their sins are removed as if they were "born anew". Muhammad even told his followers he will be an "intercessor" on the "day of resurrection".

From a Christian perspective a martyr is someone who is killed purely for his beliefs, and/or words, as in the case of Jesus Christ and His Apostles. Also as in the case of the many thousands of innocent Christians that are martyred around the world every year - because they are Christians. Another example of a martyr would be an innocent that is killed while trying to defend his family, and community, from an imperialistic aggressor like Islam.

A Christian martyr might have said "I am willing to die for my beliefs.", while a Muslim martyr might have said "I am willing to kill for my beliefs".

How do the scriptures teach that sins are remitted? By being killed while attacking others? The subject of remission of sin could not be more serious. In the example of Adam and Eve we learn that just one sin can separate us from God. However as Yahweh revealed Himself to His people during the old covenant, we also learn that sin could be atoned for by the shed blood of sacrifice:

1Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

In this new covenant era ushered in by the Messiah, "Yeshua" (which means YHWH "saves" or "rescues"), Jesus the "Lamb of God" prophesied His own crucifixion, death and resurrection.

So what prophecy was "written in the Psalms" that Jesus was making reference to?

Psalms 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me. 18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.*

Confirmed as fulfilled by the New Testament witnesses.

Matthew 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
Mark 15:24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
John 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also [his] coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. What is an example of prophecy that was "written in the prophets" that Jesus made reference to?
This Old Testament prophecy of Zechariah, regarding "that day" of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, was written over 500 years before Jesus' crucifixion...

Zechariah 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.

The crucifixion portion of this passage confirmed as fulfilled, by Jesus crucifixion through His New Testament witnesses...

John 19:37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

The WHOLE SUBJECT of the Gospel is the sacrifice of the Lamb of God - that is the crucifixion, death and resurrection of the Messiah, Yahshua, Jesus Christ - to save all from sin who have faith in his shed blood.

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Here's more Old Testament prophecy of Jesus' crucifixion prophesied about 700 years before Jesus' crucifixion, to save ALL from sin who have faith in His shed blood.

Isaiah 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.   6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.   7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.   8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth.   10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.   11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.   (URL) 12 Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Fulfilled in the New Testament

1Peter 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Then in the 7th century, so many hundreds of years after the crucifixion of Christ was testified to by all of His witnesses, Muhammad came along in the SW Arabian desert, about 1200 kilometers away from THE Holy Land, and filled his followers with complete resolve as to what to DISbelieve. Compelled his followers to DENY the crucifixion of Jesus Christ - the whole purpose of the Messiah - the whole subject of the Gospel. Compelled them to deny the very blood that would save them.

Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.  20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21 But he spake of the temple of his body. 22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Mark 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Jesus' sheep are His temple.

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are.

1Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

When a person dies in their sins they are separated from God forever, as we learn from the testimony of the rich man:

Luke 16:23-29 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

The Passover Lamb of God

Jesus was crucified during Passover, as the Passover Lamb of God, providing atonement for sin of all who have faith in His shed blood.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Following is a Messianic prophecy from the Old Testament book of Psalms, that prophesied of His bones not being broken:

Psalms 34:18 The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.   20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.   21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.   22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

Confirmed as fulfilled:

John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. 31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and [that] they might be taken away.   32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.   33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:  34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.   35 And he that saw [it] bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.   36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.   37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

They broke the legs of the two thieves that Jesus was crucified with to expedite their death, but when they came to Jesus they saw He was already dead and so they didn't break His, fulfilling the prophecy. Also uncustomary was their piercing of His side, providing a double header of fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy in two consecutive verses.

It is important that none of the bones of Jesus were broken, as that was one of the ordinances for treatment of Passover lambs:

Exodus 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats:
46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

Numbers 9:12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.   

The Passover Lamb of God, a subject that has brought many Jews to a life in Jesus Christ, is a fascinating fulfilled prophecy to study on the Internet.

The old covenant

About 3,500 years ago God began to reveal Himself to His chosen people through His prophets and witnesses as recorded in Scripture. Many of us are familiar with the early story of how God tested Abraham's faith by requesting that he take his son up on the mount to serve as a sacrifice. As the event concluded we learned that God did allow a ram to serve as a substitute for Abraham's son.

As God further revealed Himself we find that He offered His people a way to atone for sin through the shed blood of sacrificed animals. Here are bible search links for the words "sin offering" and "atone sin". Eventually God had the Jews build a tabernacle, and the focus of that grand structure was the alter, on which God gave specific instructions regarding animals that were to be sacrificed. It is a matter of historical record that the temple was in fact built and sacrifices did indeed take place. Here is a Wikipedia article that details the temple of Solomon that was built almost 3,000 years ago.

During this old covenant, and over 600 years before Christ, the prophet Jeremiah was given a prophecy of a new covenant.

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Isn't that a wonderful promise? Well that new covenant was indeed fulfilled over 600 years later through Jesus Christ. It would not be a stretch to suggest that the whole bible is about Jesus Christ, and here's why:

Roughly one third of the bible is prophecy. For the Jews was the promised Son:

Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.*

Also in the Old Testament book of:

Psalms 2:7  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee.*

The fulfillment of this specific prophecy is mentioned in the New Testament book of:
Acts 13:33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

God manifest in the person of Jesus Christ provided the one sacrifice for all.

Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

As God revealed Himself to us atonement of sin has come through blood sacrifice.

Hebrews 9:22  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Gentiles - Muslim or otherwise - that deny that God's Son was sacrificed for our sin, may as well close their bibles, because this is what the whole bible is about, and our only path to salvation. There is no more important element to believe. Jesus sacrifice for our sin is the whole subject of the New Testament which means "new covenant".

So where does that situate the 7th century prophet Mohammed in relation to all of the prophets and witnesses of the 1600 year record of God to mankind?

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

1John 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

The subject of Jesus' crucifixion, death and resurrection is the most important element in scripture, with the Messiah being the most important element in Old Testament prophecy, and the New Testament fulfillment of that Messiah.

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

God's Word is a 1600 year record of the steadily unfolding of how God chose to manifest, or reveal, Himself to mankind, as recorded by prophets and witnessed by legions. The Old Testament records God's revelation to His chosen people the Jews, and the everlasting covenants He has with the seed of Abraham. The Old and New Testaments detail the revelation of God to the Gentiles, and the new covenant path to salvation that was given to us.

When Jesus Christ died on the cross the veil of the alter in the temple was ripped in two.

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

In the book of Romans we learn that it would seem that God Himself gave some of the Jews blindness to the Gospel. Here's a link to a more in depth discussion on this topic.

Romans 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

From the previous Old Testament verses we see that Jews believed in the Son, but it seems God may have blinded some from recognizing that Jesus is that promised Son.
We know God wouldn't blind them to condemn them:

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

How, otherwise, could a group be enemies concerning the Gospel but still be beloved?

Romans 11:28  As concerning the gospel, [they are] enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, [they are] beloved for the fathers' sakes.

The bible says that nobody can be saved but by the blood of the Lamb, but might Old Testament saints have been saved by Jesus too? To an omniscient God, the sinful nature of mankind and need for atonement for our sin was a foregone conclusion. When was the Lamb slain?

Revelation 13:8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Was Jesus only suffering done on the Cross?

Hebrews 9:26  For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

It would seem that Jesus suffered under the burden of our sins, long before he was made manifest to us and died on the Cross, to save us from our sins. That would include believing Jews. There has only been a single mediator between God and men. God manifest, or revealed Himself, through Jesus Christ as the way for us to understand God through our limited human capacity.

1Timothy 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

It would still seem that perhaps Jesus Second Coming will indeed be a mournful day for the Jews as prophesied in the Old Testament:

ALL anti-Zionists need to consider the above very carefully. The primary reason for some bigoted doctrines in the church would seem to stem from viewing Jews as a monolithic group when turning to scripture. Would Christians consider themselves to be in the same group as Gentile atheists and idol worshipers? Of course not. There are genealogical Jews that believe Jesus is their Messiah, and those that believe in God and remain blind to the Gospel, and those that have no belief, or natural Jews.


Islam, on the other hand, is a stand-alone anti-Judeo/Christian religion.

Sura 19:88 They say: (Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 89 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!

Surah 9.30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the Son of God. ...God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

Islam is based on the 23 year record of the unwitnessed "revelations" of a seventh century prophet who never had a fulfilled prophecy, who never performed a single miracle, whose life was manifest in murder, pillage, plunder, sexual enslavement of women taken as spoils of war, and bloody imperialistic conquest.

Mohammed and his record are antichrist as the related verse exposes.

1 John 2:22  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].

Islam rejects the Son of God, rejects Jesus resurrection, and even rejects that Jesus died on the Cross in spite of the historical evidence reported by the witnesses including the secular record.

The saddest thing of all is that Islam rejects that Jesus died on the Cross to save all the world from our sins. So Islam rejects the new covenant, as it's murderous fruit has always demonstrated.

Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment. 31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Bloody imperialistic conquest and enslavement of women and children is not love. Consider the two million killed by Muslims just in the Sudan alone. Obviously NOT because of Zionism.

For Gentiles to reject Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection - His very purpose - is to reject Jesus Christ. To reject that He is the Son of God is to reject the doctrine of Christ.

2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Unlike Mohammed's "revelations", the bible was heavily witnessed.

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
Mark 15:39 And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Hundreds or thousands of witnesses watched Jesus die on the Cross. Mohammed, in direct opposition to the Word of God, declared:

Surah 4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus ..... but they killed him not, nor crucified him ..... for of a surety they killed him not

For those in the grip of the false prophet Mohammed's stand-alone 7th century religion, the bible is not a word game, for Islamic Greek sophist styled entertainment. You are betting your ETERNAL LIFE on the 23 year record of "revelation" without witnesses, of a single prophet, that arrived on the scene five centuries after the bible was closed, that not a single person ever heard "Allah" or Gabriel give a single revelation to, who never performed a single miracle, and whose life and book were the exact opposite of that revealed through Jesus Christ. A self-proclaimed self-serving "prophet" with false prophecies.

To our Islamic could-become brethren in Christ Jesus we exhort you:

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

Why not try reading just a little of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is presented on this website?

Even Muhammad said:

Sura 4.158 But Allah raised him ['Îsa (jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Sura 3.45 Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah;

The Quran says that Jesus was raised to God, and is "held in honor" in the hereafter, while Muhammad had no idea what was to be done with himself or his followers:

Sura 46.9 Say: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a Warner open and clear."

Earlier on this page we pointed out that Adam and Eve separated themselves from God by committing a single sin - through a single act of disobedience to God. How many times have you done something that was an act of disobedience to God? So if you are a follower of Muhammad, how could you ever have assurance of salvation, when even the man you follow didn't know what was to be done with himself?

1Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Blessedly, of the new covenant we discover:

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The Hebrew name of the Messiah is "Yeshua" which means "to deliver" or "to rescue".
